I am a registered psychologist with over 25 years of experience in private practice, working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I am especially skilled at building strong therapeutic relationships with clients of all ages. I am known for my ability to connect with teenagers, establish rapport with adults, and help children feel comfortable and engaged in therapy—an approach strongly informed by my background in education.
Prior to entering private practice, I worked in educational and correctional settings, experiences that have shaped my practical, compassionate, and flexible approach to clinical work. My practice is grounded in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). I take a client-centered, collaborative approach, working alongside individuals and families to identify goals and develop effective, meaningful strategies for change.
I have extensive experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, anger, stress, grief and loss, trauma and abuse, childhood wounds, adolescent issues, self-esteem concerns, and health-related challenges. I also have a strong interest in integrative approaches to mental health, including the role of spirituality and overall well-being.
Above all, I strive to create an open, accepting, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe, understood, and supported as they work toward resilience, balance, and emotional well-being.
